Drilling Commences On Crussell #1

 The Company is pleased to announce that drilling of the Crussell #1 Well, previously mentioned in the October 30, 2000 release, has commenced in Kansas. The well will be drilled to a depth of 5,200 feet to test the Morrow Sandstone trend which is the host reservoir for the Company's successful Siverson 1-X well located less than one mile to the northeast of the Crussell #1.

The Company will also be issuing 40,000 incentive options exercisable at $0.50 per share for directors and employees. The options are subject to regulatory approval.
