Garrington 2 Well Being Completed
| ||The Company wishes to report that the operator of the Garrington #2 horizontal re-entry well, located 50 miles north of Calgary, Alberta has finished drilling out the bottom plug. The operator has also perforated approximately 40 meters of the horizontal leg of the well and an acid stimulation has commenced. The Garrington #2 well was originally drilled four years ago by another company but was never perforated or acid stimulated due to the low price of natural gas at that time and the lack of infrastructure. The Company expects results from the well by early next week. Mount Dakota has a 25% working interest in the Garrington #2 well which will revert to a 12.5% interest once it has recouped its share of costs.|
The Company is also awaiting drilling results from it's participation in the Crussell 1-X well on the Kansas/Colorado border. The original Crussell #1 well encountered a nitrogen pocket at the 2400 foot level, and the drill rig was moved over 200 feet and re-drilled. The Company is participating in a 12.5% working interest in the Crussell 1-X because of the additional costs of relocating the drill rig. The Crussell #2 well is located one mile to the southwest of the company's Siverson 1-X well which has produced approximately 1.4 billion cubic feet of natural gas over the last 22 months of production. Mount Dakota has a 25% working interest in the Siverson 1-X well, and working interests of 50% and 25% in approximately 6000 contiguous acres of oil & gas leases in the surrounding area.
