Drilling of a New Test Well

The Company wishes to announce that it will be participating in the drilling of a new test well, located two miles north of it's producing Siverson Well on the Kansas/Colorado border. The new well will be a 5200 foot test of the Morrow Sandstone structure which is the source reservoir to the company's Siverson Well. Preliminart Results - Garrington Well

The Company wishes to release preliminary results from the recently announced re-entry well in Alberta, which we now call the "Garrington Well". The well re-entered the Pekisko Formation, a tight sand structure that appears to host an economic source of oil and natural gas. After initially encountering significant water with a moderate gas push, the operator free-flowed the well for approximately 72 hours in an attempt to physically remove the water. Performance Update of Mount Dakota's Siverson 1-X Well

The Company wishes to update shareholders on the performance of it's Siverson 1-X well which has been producing gas for sixty days into the newly built pipeline on the No Man's Field, located on the Kansas/Colorado border. The operator recently completed a 72 hour shut-in on the well in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas, and confirmed that the well pressure returned close to it's original pressure before production began on February 23, 1999. Acquisition of Oil & Gas Leases

The Company is pleased to announce that it has acquired a 50% working interest in oil & gas leases totaling over 8000 gross acres contiguous with the Company's 1998 Siverson discovery well property. Pipeline Production Commencement

The Company is pleased to announce that the pipeline commenced production on Saturday, February 20th, 1999 flowing 2.0 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 19/64 inch choke from the Siverson 1-X well. The recently completed ten mile long, six inch steel pipeline connecting the Siverson well is capable of delivering 20 million cubic feet of gas per day.
